Jerry's J-Boy Restaurant to close its last Louisville location
A longtime Louisville restaurant is set to close its last location next month, according to our news partner Louisville Business First.
Jerry’s J-Boy Restaurant, a mainstay at 4832 Dixie Highway, is set to close after breakfast on Feb. 16.
It is the only remaining Louisville location of the Kentucky-based chain that gained popularity in the 60’s and 70’s. Jerry’s at 8408 Preston Highway closed in 2015, and the Radcliff location closed about three weeks ago. The restaurant was founded in Lexington, Kentucky, and was franchised in 1957, according to the Lexington Herald Leader.
Tina Mayes, general manager of the Dixie Highway location, confirmed the closure on Tuesday. Jerry’s has a staff of about 20 employees, who Mayes described as very experienced and dedicated.
