The Louisville Immigration Court has suspended operations until further notice due to issues with several critical building systems. The U.S. General Services made the recommendation Aug. 15 after multiple unsuccessful attempts with the the lessor to address the issues at the Heyburn Building on West Broadway.Officials did not provide any information about what the building issues were. The Executive Office for Immigration Review and U.S. General Services are working to fix the situation as soon as possible. The offices will provide updates as progress is made toward reopening.Officials said parties should submit all filings to the Memphis Immigration Court for processing until further notice. Cases will be rescheduled as soon as possible.The automated case information hotline is being updated with the most current information about each case assigned to the Louisville Immigration Court.Parties can call 1-800-898-7180 to check the status of their case.
