Kentucky students could one day have lifesaving information in the palm of their hand. A proposed law would require crisis intervention hotlines to be printed on all public school student IDs in Kentucky. Louisville Sen. Denise Harper prefiled a bill that would require the printing of suicide prevention, sexual assault and domestic violence support lines on school-issued IDs for sixth through 12th graders and students at all Kentucky universities.The bill will be brought up for consideration when the next General Assembly meets in January.
