HE HELD HIS GIRLFRIEND AGAINST HER WILL AT HIS HOME ON THE JACKSON JENNINGS COUNTY LINE FOR THREE DAYS. SHE WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT TO A FRIENDS HOUSE THURSDAY AND ACCORDING TO THAT FRIEND, HE THREATENED TO KILL THEM BOTH. THAT FRIEND TALKED TO US AND SAID WHEN THE VICTIM MADE IT TO HIS HOUSE SHE WAS TERRIFIED. >> SHE SAID I’M SCARED TO DEATH, HE’S GOT A GUN. HE HAS A NINE MILLIMETER WITH A CLIP. A man in Jennings County who is accused of holding a woman against her will for several days has been arrested. James Helton's girlfriend said he held her captive for three days. She told WLKY she only managed to get away Thursday when she told her boyfriend she needed to go to a friend's house for medicine.Helton was taken into custody at 3 a.m. Saturday at a home in Seymour, according to the Jennings County Sheriff's Office Facebook page. Seymour Police received information on Helton's whereabouts and a perimeter was set up around the home.Authorities said SWAT was on the scene for several hours, attempting to call Helton out of the residence.Officials said Helton eventually came out of the residence without incident and was taken into custody.Helton was taken to the Jennings County Jail.

Helton was taken into custody at 3 a.m. Saturday at a home in Seymour, according to the Jennings County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

Seymour Police received information on Helton's whereabouts and a perimeter was set up around the home.

Authorities said SWAT was on the scene for several hours, attempting to call Helton out of the residence.

Officials said Helton eventually came out of the residence without incident and was taken into custody.

Helton was taken to the Jennings County Jail.
