THE OHIO AND SOUTHERN INDIANA. 7:05 A.M. STEPHON: WE CONTINUE TO FOLLOW LATE-BREAKING NEWS. METRO POLICE ARE RESPONDING TO YET ANOTHER FATAL SHOOTING THIS MORNING THIS TIME, IN WEST , LOUISVILLE. AT LEAST SIX PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SHOT OVERNIGHT IN FIVE SEPARATE INCIDENTS. THREE OF THOSE VICTIMS HAVE DIED. IT ALL STARTED AROUND 9:30 LAST NIGHT WITH A DEADLY DOUBLE SHOOTING AT 26TH AND GREENWOOD. MOMENTS LATER, POLICE WERE CALLED TO 16TH AND MAGAZINE STREETS ON A REPORT OF A SHOOTING THERE. JUST BEFORE MIDNIGHT, ONE PERSON WAS SHOT ON TAYLOR BOULEVARD NEAR THE WATTERSON EXPRESSWAY. JUST BEFORE 3:00 THIS MORNING, ONE PERSON WAS SHOT TO DEATH ON CRITTENDEN DRIVE, NEAR MAYLAWN AVENUE. RIGHT NOW, ANOTHER REPORTED DEADLY SHOOTING, THIS TIME ON SOUTH 39TH STREET. THIS HAPPENED LESS THAN AN HOUR AGO. POLICE SAY WHEN THEY ARRIVED, THEY FOUND A MAN IN HIS 20’S THAT HAD BEEN SHOT. HE DIED AT THE SCENE. HIS NAME HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED. Louisville Metro police are looking for suspects in several overnight shootings in Louisville. According to police, at least six people were shot in five separate incidents. Three of those victims have died. The most recent happened at 6 a.m. on S. 39th Street. That's where a man in his 20s was shot and killed. Several hours before that, just before 3 a.m., one person was shot and killed on Crittenden Drive near Maylawn Avenue. Police are reporting that a man in his 40s was pronounced dead on the scene. That person's name has not been released.Just before midnight, police were called to the 4000 block of Taylor Boulevard.Police tell us a person was shot near a liquor store. That person was also taken to the hospital. Their condition is not known at this time.Around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to 26th and Greenwood in the Parkland neighborhood on a report of a double shooting.Police say Richard Seymour, 33, died at the scene. A second person was taken to the hospital.Just moments later, police were called to 16th and Magazine streets on a report of another shooting. Police say in that case a man in his 50s was taken to the hospital. His injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.No arrests have been made in any of these shootings. Several hours before that, just before 3 a.m., one person was shot and killed on Crittenden Drive near Maylawn Avenue.

Police are reporting that a man in his 40s was pronounced dead on the scene. That person's name has not been released.
