SUV sought in shooting on Columbia's Bailey Street

Police say a man is in the hospital in stable condition.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Columbia Police Department is investigating after one person was injured in a shooting at the Colony Apartments Tuesday night.

Officers say the incident happened around 8 p.m. in the 7900-block of Bailey Street. Police say a 33-year-old man was shot. At last check, he was in the hospital in stable condition.

Police have now released a picture of a vehicle that may be involved in the shooting. It's a white SUV, possibly a Jeep Grand Cherokee. 

Investigators say they will review any available video near the crime scene to determine what happened.
