Fiery chain-reaction crash kills 3 in Indiana
A crash involving several vehicles, including a motor home and two tractor-trailers, left three people dead in Indiana.Indiana State Police said five vehicles total were involved in the crash.It happened at 10 a.m. Wednesday on southbound I-65 in Jackson County.A tractor-trailer approaching slowed traffic hit an RV and another tractor trailer, which caused a chain reaction, police said.As a result, a married couple in the RV, Glenn Cardelli and Kathryn L. Cardelli, ages 57, of Wisconsin, died, as did John Mumma, 67, of Illinois, who was in the vehicle in front of the RV.Photos show the semis involved in flames.No one else was injured, police said.The crash remains under investigation. Toxicology results are pending at this time.
