MPD: Teen arrested, charged with second degree murder in connection to Whitehaven shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The victim of a fatal shooting in Whitehaven has been identified and the suspect has been apprehended.
Memphis Police identified the victim as 20-year-old Kerron Young.
Young was found shot to death Saturday afternoon.
The shooting occurred on Wesley Forest Drive, off Neely Road.
Police say the suspect was a 16-year-old male and an acquaintance of Young.
He has been arrested and charged with second degree murder.
