Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Whitehaven

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - According to Memphis Police, a female pedestrian was hit by a car Thursday evening near Family Dollar in Whitehaven.
Officers responded to the accident at 5355 Elvis Presley Boulevard.
The victim was taken to Regional One in critical condition.
The driver who was responsible for the accident remained on the scene.
This is an ongoing investigation.
