Memphis soldier dies in Texas house party shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A house party shooting in Texas cost a Memphis solider his life this weekend.
DeAngelo Meriweather, 21, was a decorated soldier stationed at Fort Bliss last year.
Saturday a suspect opened fire during a house party, injuring five people. Meriweather was the only person who died from his injuries
The 17-year-old suspect, Joseph Rocha, was arrested Saturday night after a standoff with SWAT that lasted several hours.
