Woman injured after overnight shooting in South Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Authorities with the Memphis Police Department are investigating a shooting in South Memphis overnight.
Around 10:45 Wednesday night, officers responded to a shooting victim near S. Parkway and Third Street. The victim was shot in the 200 block of W. McKellar while attempting to recover a stolen 2006 Xterra.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. MPD said a tall man in a red vehicle fired shots at a victim and her husband.
