Dover burglary investigation, reward offered

DOVER, Del. – Police are investigating a burglary that happened on Friday and they’re offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.

According to Dover Police, a burglar broke into a home in the 2000 block of Horsepond Road between 12:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. on August 16th.

Investigators say the subject rummaged through two bedrooms and got away with cash.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
