Dover Health Care Center hosts Go Green Week

DOVER, Del. – Monday officially marks the start of Dover Health Care Center’s Go Green Week, a week dedicated to healthy living.

Doctors at the center tell 47 ABC the week is all about individual health and community health, and how the two go hand in hand.

Each day, the center is challenging people to do different things. For example, on Monday, people were encouraged to go meatless.

On Tuesday, people are challenged to reuse and recycle.

All throughout the week, the center will be hosting events, lessons, and welcoming patients and community members to learn how these small changes can impact their health.

Doctors there tell 47 ABC that sometimes having support can make all the difference in one person’s well being.

“It’s really beneficial to have community support when you’re on your own health journey, especially when it’s something new and different for you, so we really try to make it a community network here so that people have the best chance for their best health,” Dr. Skylar Kulbacki, a chiropractor at the Dover Health Care Center, said.
