Police investigating attempted robbery of Dover liquor store

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating an attempted robbery at a local liquor store that happened Wednesday evening.

Police say at around 7:45 p.m., an unknown male suspect entered Court Street Liquors, displayed a firearm, and demanded money from the employee. When the employee refused, the suspect reportedly fled on foot towards the Capital Green neighborhood.

The suspect was described as a male wearing a black Adidas jacket, black pants, and a black face mask.
