Dorchester Co. students spend day in Annapolis as part of Youth Congress Day

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Students from Cambridge-South Dorchester High School made their way to Annapolis on Tuesday to learn more about the state they live in.

11 students drove to Annapolis with their teachers to be a part of the Youth Congress Day. In addition to 100 other students from across the state, these students were a part of Tuesday’s General Assembly, got a chance to be a part of a legislative luncheon, and were a part of the legislative briefing meeting.

To top things off, 9th grade Student Ambassador Rip Cornish was invited to give the invocation and benediction at the luncheon.
