Maine hit-and-run driver takes out utility pole, deputies say
Deputies in Androscoggin County are looking for a hit-and-run driver who took out a utility pole.The crash was reported just after 10 p.m. Thursday on Sawyer Road in Greene.Deputies said the vehicle hit the pole, snapping it, and took off.Parts found at the scene point to the vehicle being a silver 2007-2010 Ford Edge SUV, deputies said.Officials said the SUV should have substantial damage to the right front and should be missing a piece of its bumper cover.Anyone with information is asked to call deputies at 207-753-2599.
