A standoff Friday morning between police and a person who was barricaded in a home on Maple Street is now over, police said.>> Download the free WMUR appThe incident started around midnight after officers responded for a report of a domestic disturbance. The alleged victim was able to leave the apartment, but a man barricaded himself inside, police said.Police said the SWAT team was called to respond after receiving reports that a gunshot was fired in the home.Surrounding residences were evacuated, police said.After more than 6 hours, Gregory Spillane, 36, was taken into custody, police said. He is charged with reckless conduct, criminal mischief and resisting arrest.Maple Street in the area of Bridge and Amherst streets was temporarily shut down to traffic and pedestrians.There was no word on any injuries.
