Former Vice President Joe Biden is planning to return to New Hampshire in just more than two weeks.Biden’s campaign announced Monday that on July 12, he will make his third visit to the first-primary state since announcing his candidacy in April.The campaign released no details, but WMUR first reported on Twitter that Biden will headline a major summer event for the New Hampshire Young Democrats.The event is called “Red, White & BBQ” and will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 12, at Cisco Brewers (formerly the Red Hook Brewery) in Porstmouth. “The New Hampshire Young Democrats have been organizing across the state nonstop since the 2016 elections, and events like our annual BBQ help us raise the funds we need to educate and turn out the youth vote and elected young leaders into office,” New Hampshire Young Democrats president Lucas Meyer.“We’re incredibly excited to have the (former) vice president join us in celebrating and supporting all that we’ve accomplished in the past year and important work we have to do both inside and outside the State House in the coming year.”It's an important event for Biden as he works to reach out to young voters. Several hundred Democratic activists of all ages are expected to attend. Other stops on Biden’s schedule will be announced in the coming days, the Biden campaign said.Biden campaigned in New Hampshire on May 13 and 14, and returned on June 4. Dr. Jill Biden made several stops in New Hampshire last Wednesday.
