Two people are facing charges after an underage drinking party in Concord where a 13-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted, police said.
Concord police said their investigation began in November after a woman reported that her daughter's 13-year-old friend had been sexually assaulted during an underage drinking party in the Penacook area of Concord.
Taylor Winter, 18, has been charged with sexual assault. Police said Winter assaulted the girl in an abandoned home on Community Drive next door to the home where the party was held.
Police said Jennifer Fanny, 35, gave alcohol and marijuana to juveniles at the party.
"Detectives learned that Ms. Fanny is alleged to have provided alcohol and marijuana to the juveniles, as well as the 18-year-old that was involved in that initial sexual assault investigation, and that she was present and helped facilitate that underage party," said Lt. Sean Ford.
Fanny is a cafeteria worker at Rundlett Middle School in Concord. Police said they interviewed her in December at the school district's administrative offices.
In court documents, Fanny denied knowing anything about the alleged sexual assault. She also denied giving alcohol or marijuana to minors.
Fanny faces misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child. The Concord School District has not returned requests for comment.
Police said more charges are possible.
