RESPONSE TO BIDEN FALL AD RESERVATIONS. While the national Joe Biden campaign has plans to outspend the Donald Trump campaign with a fall television and digital ad blitz, here in New Hampshire, the Trump Victory organization says it is running rings around the Biden effort on the ground.>> Download the FREE WMUR appThis confidence comes despite a new poll showing Trump under water in the Granite State and trailing Biden in a head-to-head match-up.As WMUR reported Wednesday morning, the Biden camp intends to reserve $280 million in advertising time nationally for the fall blitz, including $220 million for television and $60 million, with more planned, for digital. The Trump campaign reportedly has about $145 million in ad time reserved. The Biden campaign is including New Hampshire among 15 states in which it is reserving advertising time. The campaign isn’t saying how much money it plans to spend, or reserve, in each state, including New Hampshire. The Trump campaign has pre-booked about $1.5 million in ad time on WMUR-TV alone, according to public documents filed with the Federal Communications Commission. And Trump Victory is out holding in-person events and knocking on doors, while, it says, taking all the necessary precautions necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Democrats’ Organizing New Hampshire effort is alive and well but has as yet held no in-person organizing events and has no immediate plans to do so, according to the New Hampshire Democratic Party. Its efforts, like Biden’s campaign, is being conducted almost entirely virtually. “Joe Biden’s efforts in the Granite State are sorely lacking,” said RNC spokesperson Nina McLaughlin. “While President Trump’s data-driven campaign has been recruiting and training an army of volunteers since 2016 from around the state to connect directly with voters, Joe Biden’s been hiding from Granite Staters in his basement. “We look forward to seeing the culmination of our efforts on Nov. 3, when we flip New Hampshire for President Trump.” Trump Victory says its the New Hampshire operation has made more than 820,000 voter contacts this cycle and has held more than 275 field volunteer trainings and over 350 “MAGA Meetups” to rally support. Nationally, as POLITICO reported this week, Trump Victory knocks on 1 million doors a week, while Biden’s campaign knocked on zero doors. Trump Victory says it has registered 100,000 new voters in key states so far in the campaign. How the divergent methods of campaigning will affect the race in New Hampshire and nationally won’t be known until Nov. 3.
