SECOND TV AD. Democratic presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar’s campaign this week will launch its second television ad of the campaign, presenting an optimistic message instead of a “whiner in the White House.”
“Americans are tired of having a whiner in the White House,” the Minnesota senator says in the 30-second spot, which will air on broadcast and cable television in New Hampshire and first-caucus state Iowa.
“As president, I won’t govern by tweet. I’ll lead with an optimistic economic agenda for all Americans,” she says in the ad. “Rebuilding our infrastructure, lowering the cost of prescription drugs and strengthening long term care for seniors. I have a proven record of getting things done.
“Together we can move forward, because what unites us is so much stronger than what divides us,” Klobuchar says.
Klobuchar was in the state last week and will return on Friday. Among her stops will be a speech to the Manchester Democrats “Countdown to Victory” Dinner at the Puritan Conference Center. Also speaking will be Mayor Pete Buttigieg, philanthropist Tom Steyer and Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet.
