Worcester News readers contacted us after seeing signs reading "This road will be a one way system from 17 August."

A STW spokesman said: "We’re carrying out work to replace a water pipe in Sheriff Street and need to shut the carriageway while we dig to keep both our team and also local people safe.

"We’d like to apologise to anyone whose journey is delayed because of this essential work."
