An all-female Honor Flight will return to Omaha from Washington D.C. Monday night.

The 133 female veterans had a jam packed day at the nation's capital. The day started around 2 a.m., when the women started getting ready for the flight.

Patriotic Productions hosts the Honor Flight every year, taking U.S. veterans to Washington D.C. to visit all the war memorials.

Veterans on Monday's flight ranged from 27 to 98 years old and covered all of the wars since WWII.

The women came from all over the state of Nebraska and willingly served in the military.

Seeing the monuments with other veterans is what made the day special.
