Two displaced in early morning house fire

Omaha firefighters quickly extinguished flames at an Omaha home after a kitchen went up in flames.
The house is near Bancroft Elementary School, and crews were called out to the fire around 1:30 a.m.
The Battalion Chief on scene told 6 News two people were in the home asleep at the time of the fire, but they are uninjured.
The two were able to stay in the home for the night, but they were told they are going to need to find somewhere else to stay in the future.
The fire in the kitchen is under investigation.
