Waste collection delayed in parts of Omaha due to weather

The Public Works Department is delaying garbage and recycling collection due to the weather conditions.

According to a release, this only applies to residential areas where the garbage hasn't yet been collected.

The delay will only be a day, so Wednesday collections will take place on Thursday, Thursday on Friday, and so on.

Public Works asks that all waste be set out visibly and not covered in snow.
