LINCOLN, R.I. (WPRI) — Police and firefighters responded to Lonsdale Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday after a pickup truck crashed into a house.
A woman who lives there said she wasn’t home at the time, but was surprised to find a truck lodged into her living room.
“I’m shocked, nervous. I’m just glad we weren’t home cause it could have been worse. Somebody could have been hurt,” Jasmine Torres said.
Torres was visiting her mother and came home about twenty minutes after the crash. She said her television was destroyed, along with some of the toys for her 5-year-old daughter.
Eyewitness News put in a call to police to find out what caused the crash, and if anyone in the truck was injured but have not heard back.
