PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police in Providence are searching for clues to find a man who robbed a MetroPCS store at gunpoint Monday afternoon.

Officers were called to the Broad Street business just before 1 p.m. Store employees told Eyewitness News a man came in, showed a handgun and stole money from the cash register, along with some cell phones.

The robbery was captured on the store’s surveillance cameras. Police are now reviewing the footage as they continue to investigate.

No injuries were reported.
