EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — As the holidays creep closer, the Toys for Tots donations keep flowing in to the WPRI studio lobby.
A tradition continued Monday when first responders with Alert Ambulance Service arrived at the studios with two ambulances and a humvee to drop off donations.
Members of the Marine Corps stopped by the WPRI studios Tuesday to collect Toys for Tots donations and make room for more donations to be dropped off.
Donations will be accepted until Dec. 21 at WPRI, located at 25 Catamore Blvd. in East Providence.
Unwrapped toys can be dropped weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Donations will also be accepted at any Cardi’s Furniture and Mattress store location until Christmas Eve.
