Crews respond to Durham carbon monoxide leak

Firefighters with the Durham Fire Department responded to a hazardous materials call and found two adults complaining of headaches.

DURHAM, N.C. — Firefighters with the Durham Fire Department responded to a hazardous materials call and found two adults complaining of headaches.

Crews responded to the 1100 block of Latitude Drive at about 8:50 p.m. Sunday, and after further investigation, found elevated levels of carbon monoxide in the home.

Durham County EMS responded and checked out two adults, however, no one was taken to the hospital.

Dominion Energy was also requested to assist with locating the source of the carbon monoxide.

The source of the carbon monoxide is under investigation.
