CEO of Augusta University Medical Center to exit role "immediately"

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Augusta University president Brooks Keel has announced the CEO of Augusta University Medical Center will be leaving her role.
In a message on the JagWire, President Keel said the following:

Lee Ann Liska is leaving her role as CEO of AUMC effective immediately. Interim leadership for the hospital will be announced soon. I am confident that our senior leadership team will work closely together to ensure a smooth transition. An accelerated search for a permanent CEO has already begun.
