NORTH AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A man now stands charged with two counts of reckless homicide following a 2017 accident in North Augusta that killed two people.

Khalil Stiger, 22, was charged earlier this week in the November 2017 crash that took the lives of Kayleigh M. Daniels, 20, and Norris L. Scott, 23.

Stiger, according to investigators, was driving himself, Daniels, and Scott around 5 a.m.

Daniels was pronounced dead at the scene, and Scott later died at a nearby hospital.

Investigators at the scene found a beer can as well as a needle commonly used for narcotics use outside the car.
