Vacant home catches fire in Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A fire broke out early Friday morning in Augusta.

It happened at a home on the 1500 block of St. Luke Street. The house is vacant, according to crews on the scene.

the fire started near the back of the house, and when our News 12 crew arrived they say the roof was fully engulfed in flames.

At this time, no one appears to be injured.
