RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Police have identified the man who was found dead in a Richmond alley on Valentine’s Day.
Police were initially called to the 1200 block of N. 19th Street, near Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School, shortly after 11:35 p.m. for reports of a shooting. There they found one victim, an adult male, suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Shortly after, officers found 29-year-old Curtison J. Murray, of the 2500 block of Noel Street, dead in an alley. Police are investigating the Richmond man’s death as a homicide.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
