RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Metro Richmond Zoo welcomed a new female camel earlier this month.
The Dromedary camel was born on Feb. 7 to father Walter and mother Mindy, the zoo announced over the weekend.
“The baby girl is currently being given time to bond with mom and her new herd. Both mom and baby are happy and healthy,” the zoo said in a Facebook post.
The zoo is also asking for name suggestions. You can suggest a name in the comments section of their Facebook post.
