Person shot in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - One person was shot in Charleston early Monday morning.
Kanawha County dispatchers said it happened around 1 a.m. in the 800 block of 6th Street.
According to the Charleston Police Department, an unidentified man asked the victim for a ride. When the victim refused, an argument began and eventually the man shot the victim once in the back.
The victim was transported to the hospital. He is listed in stable condition.
