Child struck by vehicle while riding bike in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A boy was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in a Montgomery neighborhood Thursday evening, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
Sgt. Jarrett Williams said police responded to a vehicle crash involving a juvenile male bicyclist around 6 p.m. in the 500 block of Panama Street.
Williams said the child’s injuries aren’t considered life threatening.
The child’s injuries were initially thought to be life threatening, but his condition was upgraded, Williams said.
The crash remains under investigation.
