Nearly the entire Natrona community in Harrison Township was without water service on Friday morning after a water line broke in the area.
The break of a 16-inch line happened Thursday night near the intersection of North Canal and Federal streets.
Approximately 670 customers are affected by the break.
Officials at the Harrison Township Water Authority said they expect repairs to be complete by noon on Friday, but after that a precautionary boil water advisory will be in place through at least Sunday morning.
Bottled water is being made available to customers at the Harrison Township Water Authority office.
