The event is all part of the “Connecticut State of the Birds” report, which is released by the Connecticut Audubon every year.

The report is expected to highlight how cities and city parks are crucial to birds.

The findings especially focus on New Haven, Bridgeport, Norwalk, Hartford, Waterbury and Stamford.

The report will be released at a news conference at 11 a.m. in the Jones Auditorium of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station, at 123 Huntington Street in New Haven.
