One person hurt in wreck in Hartford

One person was hurt in a Sunday wreck near Hartford.

Authorities say the driver tried to avoid a deer on Highway 123 near Pollard's Mill.

The vehicle flipped multiple times before coming to rest in a ditch.

The driver was taken by ambulance to a Dothan hospital to be treated for his injuries.

A paramedic responding the scene also had to be treated after falling when trying to get to the driver in the ditch.

Alabama State Troopers are investigating.

First responders from Hartford and Slocomb were also on the scene.
