TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Tallahassee has been named one of the 10 best home base cities for road trippers, according to Livability.
Livability ranked Tallahassee 5th on the list and also named it one of the best places in the country to get a fresh start.
They mentioned easy places to get to from Tallahassee like Jacksonville, Pensacola, and Mobile among others. They also mentioned the Lichgate on High Road as the best roadside attraction near Tallahassee.
Livability based their rankings off an affordable cost of living, a central location with easy access to other cool cities, cute towns or stunning natural scenery, and an abundance of quirky roadside attractions and things to do nearby.
