FAIRMONT — The Feast of the Seven Fishes is making its way to Monroe Street again this weekend, bringing with it a wide array of food, entertainment and events.
On Friday at 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church on Jackson Street. The Festival Cucina will kick off the Feast of the Seven Fishes with a cooking school and dinner.
The Italian street festival is known for its street market, but this year’s event will include a lot more than just fried dough and cannolis.
Here is a look at what visitors can expect to see at the Feast of the Seven Fishes Saturday:
11 a.m., Festival kick-off. Artisans, food and wine vendors will be set up on Monroe Street and inside Gatherings
11:15 a.m., Music from Fairmont State Academy for the Arts
Noon, Music from Mountain State Sax Quartet
1 p.m., Music from Benjamin Defazio
2 p.m., Music from Sam Manno
2:30 p.m., Music from Wisdom of the Owls
4:15 p.m., Music from Sam Manno
5:30 p.m., Mass at Saint Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church at 407 Jackson Street
In addition to the Feast of the Seven Fishes, Fairmont’s annual Christmas parade will begin at 5 p.m. Following the parade is the official opening of this year’s Palatine Park ice rink, located at the park’s summer splash pad.
