Adult novelty store opens in Sardis City
Amid controversy, an adult novelty store is open for business in Sardis City."We are not a drain on the society. We're not a drain on the community," said William Winner chief operating officer of Kalli's Love Stuff.The Sardis City Council denied a business license for Kalli's Love Stuff during a council meeting on June 23. Owner Ross Winner accused the mayor and council of denying his store over their religious beliefs.Winner said his business manager had applied for the license, however, which the city outsources to an outside company.Winner said he wasn't aware that the license had already been issued when he went to the City Council.Kalli's Love Stuff opens Friday
