Birmingham police are investigating an apartment shooting near Five Points South Saturday night.Police responded to the 2100 block of 17th Avenue South near Woodcrest Road on a report of a person shot. They arrive one person suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The extent of the victim's injuries is unknown at this time.WVTM 13 is at the scene gathering more information.
