Birmingham police are investigating a shooting in the Fairview neighborhood Thursday night.Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1700 block of 4th Avenue West around 9:30 p.m. They arrived to find a person suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
