THAT DRIVER JUST SO HAPPENED TO BE HIS HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER. MARTHA ISBELL SAYS SHE WAS DRIVING DOWN A RURAL ROAD WHEN SHE GOT A FLAT TIRE. ON THAT ROAD TRAVELING IN THE SAME DIRECTION, INDIANAPOLIS COLTS LINEBACKER DARIUS LEONARD. HE NOTICED SHE NEEDED HELP, SO HE STOPPED AND CHANGED HER TIRE. ISBELL SAYS SHE IS GRATEFUL FOR HIS ACT OF KINDNESS. LEONARD PLAYED AT SOUTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY. HE WAS DRAFTED IN THE SECOND ROUND OF THE NFL DRAFT IN 2018

A South Carolina teacher is thankful that a former student, who also happens to be an All-Pro NFL linebacker, was riding down the same rural road as she was when she got a flat tire.Martha Isbell said she was thankful that Indianapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard was traveling in the same direction when she got a flat tire on April 21.“@Colts Darius Leonard continues to be an outstanding player on and off the field. So thankful to God that he stopped and helped me. Much love!” she wrote on Twitter.Leonard, who also played at South Carolina State University, already knew Isbell personally - she was his biology teacher at Lake City High School. Leonard was drafted in the second round of the NFL Draft in 2018 and became a First-Team All Pro and the Defensive Rookie of the Year in his first season.You can see the tweet here:
