CHEYENNE – The Cheyenne Police Department reported a fatal motor vehicle crash at around 9:30 Sunday morning at the intersection of East Lincolnway and Greenway Street.
The driver of a blue Toyota Corolla, Leon Latham, 92, of Cheyenne suffered serious injuries in the crash and could not be revived.
According to a news release from Cheyenne Police, the crash occurred when Latham’s vehicle and a white GMC Terrain entered the intersection of Greenway Street and East Lincolnway at the same time. Latham was not wearing a seat belt.
Impairment is not being looked at as a factor in this collision, and CPD is still investigating to determine the factors and cause.
Anyone with information who has not spoken with law enforcement is asked to call Officer Serkedakis at 307-633-6682. This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
