CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Musical Director William Intriligator for the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra is excited to inform the community with the phrase, “We’re back”. After a long few months, the pandemic has thrown a wrench in the concert performance plans of the Orchestra. Cancelling almost all of their plans.

Now, after the approval of the Health Department. They were approved to being able to perform again for the Cheyenne community. Bringing the magical feeling and sound to the ears of the Cheyenne audience. Intriligator says, “There is nothing quite like live music.” He adds, “When the music is being performed in the moment you know. Magical things happen, sometimes it just gives you goosebumps, sometimes it can make you cry it can make you jump to your feet in a standing ovation.”

Those feelings are what William and his musicians wish to deliver to the Cheyenne audience. Reminding them the sound of orchestral music resonating in a concert hall. The feel of the legendary pieces written by Beethoven and Gustav Mahler. Timeless pieces that William believes the audience.

The Performances will be held at the Cheyenne Civic Center this Saturday, The first is a matinee at 2 p.m. and an evening performance at 7:30 p.m. Other precautionary methods will also be taken such as wearing masks until seated, streamlining the entry and exit process, contact-less ticket scanning, hand sanitizer stations, sanitizing the facility before and after performances, changing the repertoire to accommodate a smaller (and socially distanced) orchestra, and shortening the concert to eliminate the intermission.

Another option for those that wish to see the performance. A live stream ticket will also be available if patrons are unable or do not wish to attend in person.
