The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens are hosting their second annual Spring Bulb Show to get people outdoors, amid the pandemic. After hosting their first show in 2019, they decided to bring it back. With the assistance of ‘Friends of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Foundation,’ the show received a sponsorship from Jonah Bank of Wyoming.

The Horticulture usually starts to plant tulip beds a year in advance. Since the inside of the botanic gardens are closed, Director of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, Tina Worthman believes there is no better time to have a bulb show, since the inside facilities of the botanic gardens are closed.

“We’ve had a huge inflex of people walking the grounds, and so it’s really nice to offer something that’s a hope of spring, hope of summer, some color, and something for people to see,” Worthman said.

The show is currently going on at the botanic gardens. They plan on having the tulips out until the middle of June 2020.
