Two peaceful protests brought people together in downtown Cheyenne.

The first on the night of Friday, May 29. Many gathered at the steps of the state Capitol building to hold a candlelight vigil following the in-custody death of George Floyd on Monday.

The second, during the day of Saturday, May 30. Many gathered again and marched down Capital Avenue to the Depot, where the protests continued.

People gathered to protest racial injustice and police brutality.
