UK – HR GO acquires majority stake in Red Berry Recruitment

Ashford-based recruitment firm HR GO has acquired a 51% stake in UK-based independent recruitment consultancy Red Berry Recruitment.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Red Berry provides temporary and permanent staff to many key sectors, including office and administration, customer service, engineering, finance and accounts, general industrial, IT and technology, manufacturing and technical, marketing, public relations and advertising.

Under the terms of the new joint venture, Red Berry’s Yeovil and Shepton Mallet branches will continue trading as Red Berry Recruitment, with the title “part of the HR GO Group.”

HR GO’s branch manager Leanne Sheppard will look after the expanded Bridgwater office, while Red Berry founder Helen Lacey will manage the Yeovil and Shepton Mallet Red Berry Recruitment business as part of the HR GO Group.

Roddy Barrow, HR GO Group Managing Director said, “We welcome Red Berry Recruitment to the HR GO family. This joint venture expands our coverage of the South West and West Country, enabling us to provide a wider range of services with excellent customer care to Red Berry’s clients and our own.”

HR GO provides recruitment, human resources, IT and digital services and places permanent and temporary staff for a wide range of clients across the UK. It also has digital and recruitment operations in Poland and a recruitment office in Australia.

In February 2019, HR GO acquired Sussex Recruitment Limited and its specialist division Gel Resourcing Limited.
